What we need

 

21 Dental / Beejal Patel will be known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We are located at 21 Russell Avenue, St. Albans, Hertfordshire, AL3 5ES.

Unless otherwise agreed with you, we will only collect the basic personal data about you which is relevant to you receiving dental treatment. This information does include the likes of your name, telephone number, address and email address.

 

Why we need it

 

We need to know basic personal data in order to provide you with the services you have engaged us to provide, and to assert our right to be recompensed in return for these services, as per the services agreement or contract we have with you. If you do not provide this information then we will be unable to provide the services you have requested. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide the services that we have agreed to provide you with.

 

What we do with it

 

All the personal data we hold about you will be processed by our team in the UK and no third parties have access to your personal data unless there is a legal obligation for us to provide them with this. Please be aware, however, that your information may be stored on a cloud-based system whose servers are located in the European Union.

We may take all reasonable steps that your personal data is processed securely.

 

How long we keep it

 

We will generally keep your personal data for a minimum of 11 years for adults and for children 11 years or up to the age of 25 (whichever is longer) after which time it will be destroyed if it is no longer necessary for the lawful purpose for which it was obtained. If you consent to marketing, any information we use for this purpose will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.
